Scope of Work
The contract requires the supply of specific corrugated fiberboard components, including Fruit Fly Shippers, Liners, Top Level Separators, Scored Pads, Level Stands, and Level Separators. All box components must be interchangeable. The Fruit Fly Shipper requires specific printing in DAYGLO Hot Pink ink, including "THIS SIDE UP", "LIVE INSECTS", "HANDLE WITH CARE", "KEEP CHILLED – DO NOT FREEZE", and USDA/Hawaii Fruit Fly Facility address details. Contractors must also print the delivery order number on the bottom panel of all boxes. The contract will cover five ordering periods, each lasting 12 months.

Submission & Evaluation

- Sample Submission: A sample Fruit Fly Shipping Box must be submitted by April 10, 2026, to the Hawaii Fruit Fly Facility for testing.

- Required Submissions: Completed pricing schedule, technical capability information, past performance information (2 relevant contracts within 5 years), list of places of manufacture for items outside the US, Provision 52.204-24 representation, and a product sample.
- Evaluation Criteria: Best value to the Government, based on comparative evaluation of Relevant Experience, Past Performance (recency, relevancy, quality), and Price (fair and reasonable). Incomplete or late quotes, or those with alternate pricing schedules, will not be considered.
