Purpose & Scope

This is a market research effort to gather information for acquisition planning. The anticipated contract will cover:

  • Inspection of Roadbed Portions for Sidetrack OU-1 (No. 343) and OU-2 (No. 342).
  • Inspection of Electrical Systems for Sidetrack OU-1 and OU-2.
  • Emergency Repair services.
  • Maintenance for Sidetrack OU-1 (No. 343) and OU-2 (No. 342).
  • Weeding for both OU-1 and OU-2. All services must comply with Japan Freight Railway Company (JFRC) rules and regulations, as well as Japanese laws and the Japan Environmental Governing Standards (JEGS) for waste removal.
