Technical Requirements & Deliverables

  • First Article Testing (FAT): Required for SINCGARS IKs containing electronic components. FAT will be performed on major components (Mounting Base, Loudspeaker, Antennas, Handset, Cable Assemblies), not the IK itself. Contractors must submit the FAT report within 270 days of contract award and commence delivery within 12 months.
  • Technical Data Package (TDP): Available upon request to companies with active status in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP). TDPs will be uploaded via DOD Safe Access File Exchange (SAFE).
