Quick Summary
The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is seeking proposals for a Single Domain Antibody Development Service. This requirement is for generating a custom Single-Domain Antibody (sdAb) targeting the human Calcium-Sensing Receptor (CASR) for use in parathyroid tumor imaging and potential radiopharmaceutical treatment. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity. Proposals are due May 24, 2026, at 9 AM EDT.
Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for developing a custom Single-Domain Antibody (sdAb) to the extracellular domain of the human Calcium-Sensing Receptor (CASR). Key deliverables include:
- Delivery of 0.5 to 1 mg each of four (4) clones of purified, validated, and 3XFLAG epitope-tagged sdAb (VHH).
- Delivery of four (4) DNA minipreps corresponding to independent sdAb (VHH) clones.
- Provision of complete protein and cDNA sequence information for the delivered sdAb (VHH). The scope also encompasses tasks such as sample submission, at least four rounds of library panning, ELISA plate screening, solution panning, negative selection, DNA synthesis, sdAb protein expression, and development of cell lines for flow cytometry screening.
