This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to replace the existing emergency lighting system at the historic Russian Bishop's House in Sitka National Historical Park. The current system, installed in 2002, is beyond its expected life cycle. The park is seeking a contractor to replace the system, including a new inverter, battery, and LED light heads, to ensure safety and meet life/safety codes for the next 15-20 years.

• Remove and dispose of four existing lead acid batteries.

• Remove and dispose of existing controller components (enclosure to remain).

• Furnish and install a new IOTA IIS 125 HE SM inverter with a 12V maintenance-free VRLA battery (or approved equal).

• Remove and dispose of eighteen existing halogen remote heads.

• Replace with JUNO R600L G2 Series 10W LED remote heads (or approved equal) in the following locations: Basement (1), Crawlspace (5), First Floor (5), Second Floor (4), Attic (3).

• Ensure the new system operates as designed.

• Provide a basic tutorial to Park maintenance employees on system operations and maintenance.

• Provide product warranties.

• Work must minimize impact to the historic fabric of the building; existing conduits, pathways, and electrical wiring are to be reused where possible. Any impact to historic fabric requires consultation and approval.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Order.

• Period of Performance: April 7, 2026, to July 5, 2026.

• Estimated Value: $19,000,000.00 (This is the small business size standard, not the contract value).

• Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1500 hrs. Work outside these hours or on Federal Holidays requires Contracting Officer approval.
