This is a request for information (RFI) / Sources Sought notification for informational purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Quote and does not constitute a solicitation nor should this notice be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary.
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistic Center Sigonella (FLCSI) requests assistance from industry for conducting market research to identity vendors that are currently qualified to provide Situational Awareness Support Watchstanders for the N3 Operations Branch at Navy Region Europe, Africa and Central (NREURAFCENT) location in Naples, Italy. The purpose of this notification is to conduct market research by soliciting industry feedback and comments. Market research will determine potential socio-economic small and large businesses interested in, and capable of, providing the support services identified in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement. This posting is issued in accordance with the requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.
NAVSUP FLCSI anticipates fulfilling this requirement as a single award, fixed price, level of effort contract for a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Full performance (not inclusive of a 30-day transition period) is anticipated to begin on 15 February 2027.
All interested parties must provide a response no later than 22 January 2026. Any requests for additional information will be addressed on a case-by case basis and may be disapproved.
Responses should include the following:
- Cover letter, not to exceed one (1) page that includes:
- Organization name, CAGE Code, and full address
- Point of contact name, title, phone number, and e-mail address
- Size and type of organization, including if applicable U.S. small business or other status
- Active security clearance type
2. Interested parties shall provide a brief statement in response to the following:
- Ability to provide and maintain continuous 24/7 situational awareness support to align with the N3 Operations Branch at Navy Region Europe, Africa, and Central (NREURAFCENT).
- Knowledge of information management and security standards in accordance with US Navy Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
- Skill in applying complex fact-finding, analytical, and problem solving methods and techniques. Preparing and disseminating briefs, messages, and orders.
- Estimated number of contractor employees required to carry out a 24/7 situational awareness support.
- Proposed labor categories that will be utilized to support a site Team Lead and supporting team members.
Note: Contractor personnel to support this requirement are required to be U.S. Citizens and are required to obtain/retain a security clearance. Work under this requirement will range from Unclassified to Secret.
