Planned Scope of Work
The project involves comprehensive erosion mitigation in Sector 30, an area with a 12- to 13-foot-tall hillside slope (gradient 1:1 to 4:1) adjacent to a sediment basin. The scope includes:
- Removal and replacement of failed pavement, slope, earthwork, and storm drain.
- Installation of permanent vegetation and erosion control measures.
- Site clearing and preparation, including removal of surface vegetation, subsurface improvements, and root balls.
- Subgrade work, including scarification, compaction, and geosynthetic placement.
- Construction of permanent fill slopes with specific inclination requirements.
- Drainage improvements and erosion prevention using biodegradable matting and hydroseeding.
- Compliance with Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) dust emission measures and CA Air Resources Board programs.
