Qualification Requirements
Contractors must be an approved source. Purchase through the KC-46 Aircraft Prime Vendor (Boeing, CAGE 81205) or other authorized distributors is acceptable. Vendors must establish distributor status by presenting a signed agreement or other documentation detailing their relationship with an approved manufacturing source. The Government does not own the data or rights to the data needed to manufacture this item; firms are encouraged to contact the OEM. Surplus is not authorized.
Evaluation & Submission
While this is a notice of intent to solicit from limited sources, all proposals received within 45 days after the publication of this synopsis will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses is solely at their discretion. Price will be a significant factor, but the final award decision may be based on a combination of price and past performance factors. The acquisition will use policies from FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Electronic procedures will be used, and the solicitation will be available for download only at www.sam.gov.
