Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, licenses, and permits to complete the HVAC replacement. Key tasks include:
- Removing and replacing eight (8) large electric in-wall heaters (17" x 21.5", 1.5kW – 3kW) with programmable thermostats.
- Removing and replacing three (3) small electric in-wall heaters (12" x 14", 1.5kW) with programmable thermostats.
- Removing and replacing ten (10) baseboard electric heaters with programmable thermostats.
- Removing and replacing five (5) furnaces with Lennox EL196UH070XE36B (or approved equal) series, single stage, 96% efficient furnaces with variable speed constant torque blowers.
- Removing and replacing four (4) boilers and sidearm water heaters with Peerless Boilers Series 63 Gas Boiler (or approved equal). The project aims to rehabilitate permanent housing residences to current standards, making buildings more sustainable and efficient. The contractor must haul off all removed materials and repair any incidental damage.
