Quick Summary
The USDA Forest Service, CSA EAST 7, is soliciting proposals for Snow Plowing Services on the Washburn Ranger District in Washburn, WI. This Small Business Set-Aside aims to secure a contractor for snow removal at the office and warehouse parking lots. The contract will be awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Proposals are due February 13, 2026, at 9:00 AM CST.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide snow removal services for the Washburn Ranger District Office, including main office parking lots, employee and guest parking, upper and lower warehouse areas, garage doors, and dumpster areas. Services are required after any snowfall exceeding one inch and must be substantially completed by 6:00 AM daily, Monday through Friday. The scope also includes optional salting/de-icing and additional plowing services. A map (Attachment 7) visually defines the snow removal areas and ideal snow pile locations.
