  • Expedited Calibration and Repair (CLIN 0005)

• Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) are included (Attachment 3).

• Laboratories must be certified by an accrediting body approved by NAVSEA METCAL TWH and accredited to ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 and/or ISO/IEC 17025 Standard.

• Access to OEM proprietary manuals, calibration procedures, software, firmware, and coefficients is required.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ).

• Period of Performance: Five consecutive one-year ordering periods, starting from the date of award.

• Minimum Guarantee: $25,000.

• Maximum Ceiling: $2,266,494.34.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide calibration and repair services for test equipment used by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), ensuring equipment meets stringent and traceable measured parameters for research, development, engineering, and logistic functions.

• Provide calibration and repair services for NUWCDIVNPT test equipment, adhering to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications unless otherwise directed.

• Calibration must include data, uncertainty, and traceability to standards.

• Perform incoming inspection within seven (7) days of receipt of Government shipping containers, documenting any damage photographically.

• Provide a quote for repair costs. Upon receipt of a TO modification or TO, perform repairs.

• Calibration services include preventive maintenance, cleaning, and ensuring proprietary software/firmware remains intact.

• Repairs include diagnosis, correction of malfunctions, and recalibration to meet published specifications, potentially involving replacement with new or refurbished units.

• Calibration must meet specified standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI Z540.3).

• Measurement results must be traced through an unbroken chain of calibrations to accepted references.

• Deliverables include Technical Reports, Certificates of Calibration, and Calibration Measurement Reports.
