Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, specifically the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price purchase order for MEDA RM100 Nanotesla Meters. This is a sole source procurement for proprietary items essential to existing government infrastructure. Quotes are due March 2, 2026.
Purpose & Scope
This combined synopsis and solicitation is for the procurement of 2 x RM100 Nanotesla Meters (Part Number 1214). These meters are proprietary to Macintyre Electronic Design Associates (MEDA), Inc., and are critical for the government's current systems. A different calibration model is not feasible due to significant redesign, engineering, testing, cost, and schedule impacts. The government has determined MEDA is the only source capable of meeting this requirement.

Evaluation will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Offerors must quote the required items in the specified quantity. Past performance, including negative information in SPRS, may render a quote technically unacceptable.
