• Permitting and Approvals: Obtain all necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.

• Temporary Support: Provide a safe and stable temporary support system capable of withstanding anticipated wave and wind loads, allowing for precise realignment.

• Submittals: Detailed work plan (including schedule, safety, and environmental plans), drawings/calculations for temporary support, material specifications, welding procedures, shop drawings, corrosion protection plan, and as-built drawings.

• Warranty: Contractor shall provide a 12-month warranty.

• Security Requirements: Personnel must have federally acceptable photo identification and comply with base access requirements. Real ID Act compliance is mandatory.

• Continuity of Facilities Operation: Schedule work to minimize interference with facility operations; notify Contracting Officer 3 business days in advance of shutdowns. On-site work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday (excluding Federal Holidays), unless otherwise approved.

• Recycling and Disposal: Contractor is responsible for recycling/reusing waste materials and disposing of waste off-site according to regulations.

• Regional Materials: Maximize procurement of materials within a 250-mile radius.

• Safety: Conform to OSHA rules and regulations; provide barriers and fencing as needed.

• Protected Work Environment: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, free from chemical or biological contaminants.

• Construction Inspection: Contractor is responsible for maintaining an adequate inspection system.

• Temporary Facilities: Contractor must provide own sanitary facilities. Water and 120V electricity are available at no cost. No telephone service is available. Contractor is responsible for repairing any damaged utilities.

• Secure fuel, electricity, and water to the pier/brow.
