Source Approval Requirements
This item requires Government source approval prior to contract award. Only previously approved sources have been solicited due to existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge held by qualified sources, and data rights not economically available to the Government. If not an approved source, offerors must submit detailed information as per NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures (links provided in the solicitation description) with their proposal. Offers failing to provide required source approval data will not be considered. If a source approval request is under evaluation, a copy of the cover letter must be submitted. The Government may proceed with award based on Fleet support needs if new source approval cannot be processed in time. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) for this solicitation.
