Enclosure 1 lists the specific documents requiring this NDA, including various subsystem, fastener, piping, and assembly documents.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document details the work required to replace the Steering Gear Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) Pump aboard the USS BAINBRIDGE (DDG 96).

• Task: Replace the existing Axial Piston Pump (part of the Steering Gear Hydraulic Power Unit).

• Location: Steering Gear Room (4-442-0-E).

• Specific Pump: Northrup Grumman Systems, APL: 52A010052, Axial Piston Pump, Mfr. ID: 1983373, 127 GPM, 1,200 RPM, 5,000 PSI.

• Process: Remove and dispose of system fluids (up to 500 gallons), perform a visual inspection, remove the existing pump, install the new pump, and restore the piping system.

• Fluid Removal: Up to 500 gallons.

• Installation Guidance: Follow specific procedures outlined in reference 2.2, paragraph 6-6.1.6, steps (a) through (h), and other referenced documents (2.2 through 2.7).

• Fasteners: Adhere to requirements of O09-024, prohibiting cloth, polyvinyl sheet, paper, tape, and rubber sheeting as FME.

• Hardware: Retain all hardware including fasteners for reuse.

• Piping Restoration: Restore piping flange mating surfaces, chase and tap threaded areas, and clean exposed parts.

• Gaskets: Install new gaskets conforming to material requirements of 2.4.

• Torque Verification: Accomplish torque verification of fasteners to 575-600 foot-pounds using a calibrated torque wrench.

• Coupling Alignment: Perform alignment check of motor to pump coupling per reference 2.2.

• Operational Test: Conduct an operational test per Chapter 2 of 2.2, with no allowable leakage.

• Compartment Closeout: Joint inspection with Supervisor and Commanding Officer's representative, and completion of Work Completion Certification.

• Location: Steering Gear Room (4-442-0-E) aboard USS BAINBRIDGE (DDG 96).

• Fluid Handling: System fluids up to 500 gallons to be removed and disposed of.

• Rigging: Contractor required to rig new equipment into location and transport old pump. A crane is required for transport.

• Ship's Force Support: Ship's Force will conduct mechanical/electrical isolation, tag out, and oil transfer. Ship's Force must conduct a system flush prior to the operational test.

• Coordination: Contractor must coordinate with Ship's Force and FDRMC representative prior to operational test.

• Government Furnished Material (GFM): One Axial Piston Pump is provided.

References will be requested via e-mail by submitting the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) form.

• Accomplishment of work as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (NAP-024-26).

• Submission of a Pricing Worksheet (Attachment J-1).

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price.

• Period of Performance: February 25, 2026 through March 02, 2026.

• Place of Performance: Souda Bay, Greece.

• Quotes must be submitted no later than Monday, February 23, 2026, at 09:30 AM.

• Award will be made to the contractor with the lowest responsible quote.

• Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).

• This is a request for quote; it is not an authorization to perform work.

• The Government is not liable for costs incurred prior to an authorization to proceed.
