Request for Information (RFI)

This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The government is seeking information regarding the procurement of a Solid State 400Hz Frequency Transformer for F22 and F16 Aircraft test stands and the Viper Operational Flight Procedure (OFP) Integration and Debug (VOID) project. No payment will be made for information submitted, and no contract will be awarded based on this RFI.

Vendors are requested to provide information in four sections:

• Company Profile (1 page limit):
  • General experience with Frequency Converters for Military Aircraft Test Labs.
  • Description of similar products offered to the Government.
  • Company business size and type (assuming NAICS code 335311).
• Capability (2 page limit):
  • Confirmation of being an authorized reseller of Controlled Systems.
• Proposed Approach (1 page limit):
  • Recommendation for an alternative NAICS code (if applicable).
  • Confirmation that this will be a firm-fixed price contract.
  • Outline and schedule (lead time) for the effort.
  • Percentage of subcontracting, if applicable.
  • Total cost estimate for the contract.
• Additional Comments/Information (1 page limit):
  • Any comments or questions regarding the effort.

  • Item 1: Controlled Systems 90kVA Solid State Frequency Converter (or brand name equal). Key characteristics include TAA compliance, specific input/output voltage and frequency, solid-state design, NEMA 3R enclosure, weight limit, conduit entry, and US-based manufacturing or repair accessibility.
  • Item 2: Start-up & Training on-site with Load Bank performed by Factory Field Service Engineer (Power Systems and Controls or brand name equal).
