Scope of Work
The selected contractor will provide comprehensive 24/7 Nursing Telephone Triage Services, including a toll-free line, specialized software utilizing Schmitt/Thompson protocols, and trained Health Service Specialists for initial call handling. Registered Nurses (RNs) will provide callbacks for urgent symptoms within 10 minutes and non-urgent calls within 30 minutes. Encounter forms must be faxed to WWKMHCC Nursing staff within 24 hours. The service aims to support an estimated active beneficiary population of 7,008.
RNs must hold a current unrestricted state license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, possess one year of experience, have passed the NCLEX, and be fluent in English with strong interpersonal and culturally sensitive communication skills.
