Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, new furnishings, and services necessary for the installation and removal of dorm furniture in four unspecified buildings at Malmstrom AFB.

• Furnish new desk chairs, along with all necessary tools, materials, and labor.

• Deliver, assemble (if needed), and install new desk chairs in dormitories.

• Remove old desk chairs from rooms.

• Dispose of old desk chairs off-base at the contractor's expense.

• Protect existing furniture and building materials during installation using industry-approved coverings.

• Ensure the work site is maintained clean and free of debris daily and upon completion.

• All work is subject to government inspection and acceptance before payment.

• Inspection of completed work will involve a contractor representative and Air Force personnel to identify damages to facilities and furnishings.

• New desk chairs are to be installed in dormitories with three floors and stairwell access only.

• The quantity of new desk chairs to be installed is up to 210.

• Work is to be performed at Malmstrom AFB.

• Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding Saturdays, Sundays, Federal holidays, and down days.

• Delivery truck staging sites will be within 200 feet of a dormitory entrance.

• Contractor employees must not pose a threat to the health, safety, security, or well-being of the installation or its population.

• Personnel clearance and access coordination with the Contracting Officer is required.

• Any hazardous waste or material used or generated is the contractor's responsibility for disposal in accordance with federal and state regulations.

• Compliance with all OSHA and NEC requirements is mandatory.

• The contractor is responsible for coordinating delivery and installation with the Contracting Officer.

• No dumpsters will be provided by the government for disposal.

The government is seeking information to determine if responsible sources exist for the procurement of 210 Dorm Desk Chairs. • Provision of installation/assembly services.
