Justification & Additional Notes
The Government intends to award this effort on a sole-source basis to NGSC, citing 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) (FAR 6.103-1) due to NGSC being the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the equipment. The Government does not own a Technical Data Package (TDP), and drawings/data are proprietary to NGSC.
This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), and no contract will be awarded based on responses to this notice. Any response must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous for a future procurement.
