Scope of Work
NAVFAC Hawaii seeks a rugged, high-reliability low voltage cam-style connector system designed for ship-to-shore power applications in caisson and waterfront environments. Key requirements include:
- Voltage/Current: Rated for 600V systems, with a continuous current rating of 690A. Must be capable of handling marine and naval electrical loads.
- Physical: Single pole, cam-type, positive latching, ball nose design. Must offer quick connect/disconnect, insulated housing with no exposed conductive parts, and an external release mechanism operable with gloved hands.
