Scope of Work
Manufacturers are sought for products that meet or exceed FAR and other Federal Government standards, specifically GL-PD-15-03 and GL-QATIP-MPHS-01F, and industry performance specifications for construction, performance, sustainability, and reliability. Products must be manufactured, lab-tested, certified, and customer-tested.
Manufacturers must:
- Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for compliant materials.
- Possess a nationally or industry known brand with significant sales appeal.
- Demonstrate how they will assist the designated non-profit agency (NPA) to expand its product line, increasing blind work hours while minimizing NPA costs.
- Be willing to deliver bulk materials to the NPA for on-time deliveries.
- Enter into a multi-year agreement for ongoing technical/production assistance and factory-trained field support.
- Commit to working with the AbilityOne Program to market products to Government customers, with preference for those with dedicated Federal Government sales teams.
- Collaborate with the NPA, NIB, and AbilityOne to ensure fair and reasonable pricing for end-users.
