Scope of Work
NIB is seeking manufacturers of component parts (no distributors) for various label cassettes, including:
- Sizes: 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”
- Colors: White, yellow, black, and clear
- Materials: Polyester, nylon, and vinyl
- Features: Strong, residue-free adhesive, easy-peel backing, compatible with label printer NSNs 7490-01-657-6124 and 7490-01-657-6125. Products must meet or exceed FAR and federal standards, industry performance specifications, and be lab/customer tested with necessary certifications.
Manufacturers must:
- Possess a nationally or industry-known brand with significant sales.
- Demonstrate how they will assist the designated nonprofit agency (NPA) in expanding label cassette lines and increasing blind work hours, while minimizing NPA costs.
- Be willing to deliver bulk materials to the NPA and enter into a multi-year agreement for technical/production assistance and field support.
- Commit to marketing products to Government customers, with preference for those with dedicated federal sales teams.
- Work with the NPA, NIB, and AbilityOne to ensure fair and reasonable pricing.
