Quick Summary
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate and award a sole source modification to The Boeing Company (TBC) for F/A-18 E/F ADVEW Flight Test Integration. This action will definitize a previously awarded Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA) for the integration of an advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) suite into the F/A-18 E/F aircraft. Responses regarding subcontracting opportunities are encouraged by April 3, 2026.
Scope of Work
This modification will cover the final design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of the A-Kit design for production Block III F/A-18E and F/A-18F aircraft, configured with and without the Wide Band Radar System (WRBS), in Fiscal Year 2026. The ADVEW system combines existing EW components (ALR-67 Radar Warning Receiver and ALQ-214 Self-Protect Jammer) into a single, open-architecture system, enhancing both offensive and defensive capabilities and integrating with AN/APG-79 radar upgrades.

Only TBC has the necessary technical data to meet the minimum requirements.
