Purpose & Scope
This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The IHS seeks to procure non-personal LCSW services to support the Rosebud IHS Service Unit. The scope includes providing crisis management care, referrals, and counseling services, as well as outpatient services and referrals to inpatient facilities. Duties encompass diagnosis, care, and treatment of behavioral health patients, consultations, examinations, preliminary diagnoses, treatment arrangement, emergency/crisis care, and coordination of follow-up services. LCSWs will also prepare medical records, dictate clinical reports, and educate patients and families. Services will be flexible, accommodating short-term (13 weeks), long-term (1 year), and intermittent support.

The IHS anticipates a firm-fixed price, single-award purchase order with a period of performance of one year after award. Personnel Qualifications require a minimum of 24 months of experience in the specialty, a current unrestricted social work license, documentation of social work supervision completion, a valid driver's license, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Adherence to standards of The Joint Commission (TJC) and professional American Boards is required, along with participation in peer review and performance improvement programs.
