Scope of Work
This market research aims to identify potential suppliers for an aircraft hangar bay low-level fire protection fixed foam solution discharge device. The alternate product/source must meet the following requirements/specifications:
- Comply with Interim Technical Guidance (ITG) FY26-01 “Acceptable Design Criteria for Low Level Fire Protection in Navy and Marine Corps Aircraft Hangar Facilities” dated February 5, 2026.
- Provide low-level water-only fire protection for an aircraft ignitable liquid fuel fire by spraying water over the hangar bay floor to flush ignitable liquid fuel into drainage trenches.
- Utilize 70, 180, 250, and 360-degree spray patterns.
- Feature a stainless steel nozzle installed flush with the hangar bay floor.
- Be integrated into an epoxy-coated ductile iron solid trench cover.
