Quick Summary
The Department of War, through the DEPT OF THE ARMY, is conducting a Sources Sought to identify qualified vendors for the reconfiguration of existing UNICOR office furniture/cubicles at the Air National Guard (ANG) facility in Madison, WI. This market research aims to determine if the requirement can be competitively sourced while preserving warranties and ensuring component compatibility. Responses are due May 6, 2026.
Scope of Work
The project involves the disassembly of an existing 16-workstation layout and its reconfiguration into a new 14-workstation layout. Key tasks include:
- Disassembly: Tear down 16 existing UNICOR office cubicle workstations (Crescendo series, 2021 purchase) with 42" separation panels.
- Reconfiguration & Installation: Build a new 14-workstation layout, including twelve (12) L-shaped and two (2) U-shaped customer service counters, utilizing 66" high privacy panels.
- Component Integration: Maximize the use of existing components while integrating newly sourced parts.
- Provision of New Parts: Supply new panels (to increase height to 66"), panel trims, hinges, corner connectors, return work surfaces, additional storage units (overhead bins/pedestals), internal electrical whips, and power poles.
- Finish Matching: Ensure all new components visually and mechanically match the existing 2021 UNICOR Crescendo finishes.
- Asset Disposition: Manage the inventory of all components.
Site Coordination
Vendors are responsible for furniture-integrated electrical components. A Government-provided licensed electrician will connect the furniture's base power whip to the facility's building power. The Government will handle IT/Data cable removal and routing, with the vendor providing necessary pathways within the new panels.
