Scope of Work
BSA seeks laboratory testing services for #2 and #4 fuel oil, including:
- Regulatory fuel oil testing for both #2 and #4 fuel oil.
- Testing and reporting required by NYSDEC.
- Laboratory analysis of samples collected from designated fuel tanks and/or during fuel deliveries.
- Environmental compliance related to sample retention and disposal.
Testing shall be performed in accordance with applicable ASTM standards (e.g., D2622/D4294 for Sulfur, D240 for BTU, D976 for Cetane Index, D5762 for Nitrogen). The anticipated testing frequency is approximately five (5) tests annually for #2 fuel oil and three (3) tests annually for #4 fuel oil. All services must be performed at the contractor’s laboratory facility.
