SOURCES SOUGHT - Inveris Target Retrieval System Upgrade to Existing Inveris System

Statement of Need (SOW/PWS)

To upgrade the existing 21-point Inveris Gen1 Target Retrieval System to a new 21-point XWT Gen5 System for the 914 Security Forces Squadron/CATM at the Niagara Falls ARS, NY.

This is a non-personnel service. The contractor shall provide all necessary plant, labor, materials, parts, equipment, and transportation to perform the upgrade. This includes:

• Replacement of the existing Gen1 system with the Gen5 Inveris XWT Wireless Target System.
• Provision of the Inveris XWT Gen5 Upgrade, which includes a Next Generation Wireless 360 Degree Turning Target System with self-propelled, touchscreen target control for 21 firing lanes.
• Supply of a Master Control Computer and one Tablet Controller with RMCS3.
• Installation of the upgraded equipment.
• Proper removal and disposal of the existing equipment.

The upgraded Target Retrieval System must meet the following minimum characteristics:

• Ability to utilize existing components of the current retrieval rail system.

• Replacement of the current 21-point carrier/computer system.

• Target traversal capability from 0m to 25m on a rail system.

• Locally controlled target carriers from each point.

• Control Tower Target Control.

• Inclusion of 3/8" steel plate for carrier component protection.

• Illumination of targets on carriers, with the ability to control carrier lights (on/off/strobe).

• Speed control on carriers.

• Capability to charge batteries when not in use.

• Work shall be completed within 120 days of award.

• Delivery of materials shall be FOB Destination.

• Components and work shall have a minimum of a 1-year warranty.

Sources Sought Inquiry (SSI)

This document is a Sources Sought Inquiry (SSI) from the 914th contracting office at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station (NFARS), New York. It is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation or contractor proposals/quotes will be accepted at this time. The government is seeking information from potential contractors regarding their capability to provide an upgrade to an existing Inveris Gen1 Target Retrieval System to an Inveris Gen5 Target Retrieval System. This includes the removal of the existing system and the installation of a new system.

• Upgrade of the existing Inveris Gen1 Target Retrieval System to Inveris Gen5 Target Retrieval System.

• Removal of the existing system.

• Installation of the new system.

• Delivery and installation to be completed within 120 days after the date of award.

• Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and services.

• Interested parties are requested to respond with capability information detailing their experience in the delivery and installation of Inveris target retrieval systems.

• Small businesses should include their small business category information.
