Purpose & Scope
This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for market research to assess industry capabilities for preventive plumbing maintenance services. The objective is to maintain healthy conditions in the main drainage systems of the Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) and the West Wing Administration Building.
The scope of work includes:
- Bi-annual drain line cleaning in identified problem areas.
- Jetting of drain lines during two one-week service visits.
- Application of Bio-Clean treatment to drain lines.
- High-resolution video camera inspections to assess pipe conditions, identifying blockages, cracks, and deterioration.
- Routine inspections and cleaning of sewer lines to prevent debris buildup.
- Waste management, augering, and immediate repair of any damages caused during maintenance.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive safety program, ensuring personnel use OSHA-compliant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Training NNMC Maintenance Staff on best practices for drain line maintenance.
- Providing completed service reports for all preventative maintenance performed.
Contract Details & Requirements
- Anticipated Period of Performance: One base year with up to four additional one-year option periods.
- Place of Performance: Northern Navajo Medical Center, U.S. Hwy, 491 North, Shiprock, New Mexico, 874120 (Main Hospital and West Wing).
- Primary NAICS Code: 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors.
- Licensing: Contractor must be licensed to perform plumbing drain line and other plumbing services in the State of New Mexico.
- Contractor Furnish: All labor, tools, materials, and supervision.
- Compliance: Adherence to Hospital Policy, including Pre-construction Risk Assessments (PRCA), Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA).
- Coordination: Work must be coordinated with Facility Management at least 120 hours (5 business days) in advance.
