- Technical: Minimum 9'0" finished ceiling height. VRF HVAC systems are prohibited. Corridor width must support 6-foot-wide clear patient corridors.
- Preferred: One exterior standby diesel generator with a 24-hour fuel tank.
- Environmental: Property must be outside the 1-percent-annual chance floodplain.
Lease & Financial Details
The anticipated lease term is 20 years (Full Term) with a 10-year Firm Term. The VA anticipates $6,250,000 to $7,500,000 for construction/buildout. Monthly lease rental payments will be made in arrears upon facility acceptance; no progress payments during design or construction.
