Sources Sought / Market Research

This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is for market research by the Defense Logistics Agency to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources for the Patriot Weapons System. The government is seeking information to determine if future efforts can be competitive or set aside for small businesses. This is not a solicitation, and no request for proposal or quotation will be responded to at this time.

The SSS lists multiple items (Table 1) requiring acquisition. These items include various electronic components such as circuit card assemblies, switches, microwave devices, power dividers, circuit breaker boxes, antenna drives, logic controls, antenna couplers, mast sections, power supply assemblies, junction boxes, and distribution boxes. The acquisition is currently being procured under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) due to a limited number of responsible sources.

The government is interested in all businesses, including 8(a), small business, small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements for eligibility.
