This notice is issued by the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Denver Service Center, for market research purposes. The government is seeking information to understand potential businesses and their qualifications for a project to replace waterlines at the National Mall and Memorial Parks (NAMA) in Washington D.C. The information gathered will help determine the acquisition strategy, including the possibility of a small business or socio-economic set-aside.

The project involves replacing waterlines from the water treatment building to the Reflecting Pool. A section approximately 146 linear feet long, running parallel to a tree dripline, will be repaired using the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) method. The project also requires measures to prevent soil erosion and discharge of soil-bearing water runoff. The park will remain open during construction, requiring activities to minimize visitor impact. The site is a historic/natural/cultural resource, necessitating protective measures. The anticipated period of performance is 270 calendar days, potentially including seasonal or winter construction.

  • Up to two (2) past project examples (similar type/scope, within last 7 years).
