Scope of Work
This requirement is for an elemental analyzer system capable of interfacing seamlessly with an existing Thermo Scientific Delta V Advantage Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer. The system will be used for percent protein determination and stable isotope analysis of fish, plankton, marine mammal, and other animal tissues, purified amino acids, and standard reference materials. Key technical specifications include:
- Seamless interface with Thermo Scientific Delta V Advantage IRMS.
- Capability to use helium as a carrier gas with a flow rate of 90-110 mL/min.
- Interface with Thermo Scientific Isodat Software for automatic sample stream dilution control.
- Two-column configuration for combustion and reduction.
- Inclusion of an autosampler, oxidation and reduction reactors, a gas chromatography (GC) column and oven, and flash combustion capability.
