Scope of Work
The requirement involves comprehensive laundry services for items generated from training exercises. This includes:
- Pick-up and Delivery: Soiled laundry pick-up and clean laundry delivery at USAMRICD, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, during regular business hours (0830-1530 EST, M-F).
- Item Handling: Verifying quantities, cleaning items according to specified procedures (e.g., JSLIST suits require no starch, bleach, dry cleaning, steam pressing, stain removal, or fabric softener), removing soil and stains, folding, bundling, and packing.
- Item Types: JSLIST suits, barrack bags, rags, huck towels, head harnesses, gloves and glove liners, and laundry bags.
- Damage/Loss Management: Replacing damaged or lost items, with the contractor bearing costs for replacements exceeding specified thresholds (e.g., 100% replacement for damaged JSLIST suits and head harnesses).
- Turnaround: Delivery of clean items within seven business days of pick-up.
- Contractor Responsibilities: Provide all necessary transportation, equipment (including laundry machines), and consumables. Adhere to facility security policies, provide signed non-disclosure agreements, and submit a Quality Control Plan (QCP).
