Sources Sought Notice

The Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the production of a Waste Receptacle (NSN: 7240-01-537-1804, Part No: 10080171). This component is part of the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS). Responses will help ACC-DTA plan for a future purchase order.

• Technical Data Package (TDP): Available to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors only. Will be provided if/when a solicitation is released. Requires a current DD 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, on file with DLIS to access.

• First Article Testing (FAT): Not required.

• Interested parties should complete and return the provided survey.

• Deadline: No later than 4:30 P.M. EST on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

• Vendor Profile: Company name, address, CAGE code, POC, contact information, website.

• Business Type: For NAICS 326199 (Waste Receptacle Manufacturing), indicate relevant categories (e.g., Small Business, Large Business, 8(a), HUBZone, etc.).

• Nonmanufacturer Rule: Indicate qualification if applicable.

• DD 2345 Status: Confirm if a current DD 2345 is on file.

• Item-Specific Information: Past manufacturing experience, current manufacturing capability, production location, lead-time, monthly production rates, current price per unit, quality management system, and any other pertinent information.

• This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only.

• All survey input is voluntary, and no compensation will be provided for participation.
