  • Pellet Specifications: Particle diameter between 0.15-in and 0.35-in, non-tacky coating, and consist of at least 88% by weight PG 76-22 asphalt binder.
  • Performance: When mixed and heated to approximately 320°F, the final product must achieve an APA rutting depth of less than 4.5-mm at 240-lb wheel load and 120-psi hose pressure.
  • Packaging: Material shall be packaged in 2,000-lb supersacks, stenciled with "PA" in forest green lettering (minimum 6-inch height) on at least two opposing sides. Supersacks must be delivered on wood pallets, shrink-wrapped with a minimum of 6-mil plastic wrap. A standard shipping unit is 16 supersacks (32,000 lbs).
