Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for the renovation and conversion of Building 230 at Columbus AFB, Mississippi, into a consolidated Flying Training Squadron (FTS) facility. The project aims to modernize the facility to support the T-7A Red Hawk mission and enhance the flying training operations.

The project encompasses a comprehensive renovation including:

• Demolition of existing interior finishes, partition walls, doors, and hardware.
• Repair and preparation of floor and wall surfaces.
• Installation of new flooring (LVT plank and carpet) and associated materials.
• Installation of new interior partition walls and doors.
• Upgrades to electrical fixtures, mechanical systems, and plumbing.
• Painting of interior walls.
• Installation of new lighting fixtures, communication systems, and HVAC components.
• Specific architectural and plumbing work for various rooms, including classrooms, briefing rooms, offices, restrooms, and a step desk area.
• Controls upgrades for the facility's HVAC system.
• Replacement of chilled water and heating water piping.
• Installation of new drinking fountains.

The Period of Performance for this project is 365 days from the Notice to Proceed.

• All work must comply with applicable UFCs, ETLs, local and national codes, and Columbus AFB Installation Facility Standards.
• Design professionals must be licensed.
• The contractor must submit design documents for review at various stages (35%, 65%, 95%, 100%).
• A comprehensive Quality Control Plan (QCP) must be implemented.
• Safety, health, and environmental protection measures must be strictly adhered to, including hazardous material management and spill prevention.
• The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary construction equipment and temporary utilities.
• No Government-furnished equipment or materials will be provided.
• The Government will not salvage any materials for this project.
