Scope of Interest
The Government is seeking sUAS with the following salient characteristics:
- Hybrid airframe with both Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) and high-speed (at or greater than 75 mph) fixed-wing flight capabilities.
- Operational range of at least 20 kilometers.
- First-Person View (FPV) control interface.
- Fully integrated and certified system of swappable, non-kinetic training payloads (e.g., without pyro-techniques).
- Turnkey, ruggedized system designed for immediate field use by unit operators.
- National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2020 §848 and 2023 §817 compliant.
- Listed as an approved unmanned aircraft product on the DIU BLUE LIST as of April 13, 2026.
