Quick Summary

The Idaho Army National Guard (IDARNG) USPFO Purchasing and Contracting Office has issued a Sources Sought Synopsis / Request for Information to identify capable businesses for Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software licenses, maintenance, and training. This market research aims to find a solution for their Hass VF-4SS CNC Mill 4-axis machine that integrates with the existing MasterCam CAD environment. The government is considering a 100% Small Business set-aside for a potential future requirement. Responses are due by April 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time.

Purpose

This is a market research effort under FAR Part 10, not a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The IDARNG seeks to identify responsible businesses capable of providing commercial brand name or equal software products, maintenance, and training. • Functionality: Must support modeling of machine work area components, automate machine code generation, and support macros/user-defined functions.
  • Maintenance & Support: Annual maintenance/software support for 12 months, including technical support, software updates, and bug fixes.
  • Training: Instructor-led software Mill & Training for up to 7 participants, in-person, tailored to specific needs, with trainers who are native English speakers.
  • Post Processor: Configuration and support for a Level III 4-axis indexing and simultaneous post processor for the Haas VF with rotary retrofit.

All items must be delivered electronically or FOB Destination to Boise, ID 83705 within 30 days of award.
