Scope of Work
The requirement is for the refurbishment of the KT2A transformer at the Tracy Substation. The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision. Key tasks, as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), include:
- Pre-testing, draining, and hot oil cleaning.
- Re-gasketing bushings, radiators, and accessories.
- Replacing Trench COTA H1, H2, H3 bushings (Government furnished) and COPS Bladders (Contractor supplied).
- Vacuum filling and post-electrical testing.
- Replacing PRDs, oil level/winding/oil temperature gauges, updated sudden pressure devices, seal-in relays, and Buchholtz gas detection relays.
- Welding DBI Sala mast mounts and installing PCore test terminals on H bushings.
- Disposal of all waste materials. Work must comply with OEM specifications and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Period & Place of Performance
The Period of Performance is anticipated from October 01, 2027, to December 31, 2027. The work will be performed at the Tracy Substation, 16800 W. Kelso Road, Byron, CA 94514. Normal work hours are Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding US Federal Holidays.
