Quick Summary

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting a Sources Sought for Vector Network Analyzer Extender Head Drivers. This market research aims to identify qualified vendors, including small businesses, capable of supplying three units with specific technical requirements. Responses are due by April 29, 2026.

Purpose

  • Output Power: -60 dBm to 15 dBm
  • Compatibility: VDI extender heads with attenuators in WR6, WR5, and WR3
  • Features: CW frequency accuracy of 1 ppm, 1 Hz frequency resolution, 1 mdB rms trace noise at 3 kHz IFBW, and no external couplers.
  • Delivery: No later than 24 weeks after order, with acceptance at NIST Boulder within 7 business days.
  • Warranty: A 1-year base manufacturer warranty covering labor, parts, travel, and return costs.
