Scope of Work

The requirement is for specialized equipment for wheel overhaul operations:

  • Parts Washers (2 units): MAGIDO - X-53 - L160E (or equal), with specific add-ons including a Bag Filter Column, 24/7 Programmable Controller for Tank Heater, Oil Water Coalescer (OS-170), and Future Use Connections. Salient characteristics include an 84-gallon fluid capacity and 460V/60Hz/3PH power.
  • Agitators (2 units): CleanMaster 80 / Part Number: 800059 (or equal). Salient characteristics include dimensions of 33"W x 51.5"L x 66.25"H, an 80-gallon fluid capacity, 250-lbs load capacity, and 115VAC/60HZ/1PH power.
  • Delivery: To Bldg 1126, Rm 510, within 270 days of contract award. Contractor is responsible for packaging disposal.
  • Service & Warranty: Includes hardwiring, function check with written report, and operator/maintenance training. Service begins 12 months post-function check. A 12-month all-inclusive warranty starts after service completion, with critical repair parts sent via next-day air. Warranty is renewable annually.

Special Requirements

  • "Or Equal" Products: Acceptable if they meet all salient characteristics with supporting documentation.
  • Security: Contractor personnel must adhere to installation security policies, consent to NCI background checks, and be easily identifiable.
  • Duty Hours: Work primarily 0700-1600, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays, unless government approval is obtained.
  • Government Furnished Property (GFP): None provided, except for emergency life support.
  • Access: Coordination with the Wheel and Tire Section required within 30 days of function check completion.
