Scope of Work
The contractor will provide fresh, clean, high-quality Soybean Meal (Bulk - No Bags) for animal health and research. Key requirements include:
- Product: Soybean Meal, adhering to strict nutritional specifications (e.g., 48% Crude Protein, 78% Total Digestible Nutrients).
- Prohibited Ingredients: Feeds must not contain antibiotics, hormones, chemical growth promotants, animal products/by-products, bactericides, bacteriostats, or coccidiostats. Mill cleaning procedures are required if prohibited materials were processed.
- Delivery: Within four (4) working days of order receipt, via Auger Truck only, into a 12-ton capacity bulk feed bin at USDA, ARS, MWA, NADC, 1920 Dayton Avenue, Building 13, Ames, Iowa 50010. Deliveries are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (CST), excluding Federal holidays.
- Documentation: Certified empty and loaded weight tickets, and a delivery ticket with signatures, are required for all bulk deliveries.
- Quantity: The IDIQ contract has a maximum of 90 tons and a minimum of 5 tons.
