Respondents are required to submit a capability statement addressing the following key areas:
- General Data: Company details (CAGE, UEI, size, socioeconomic status), POCs, relevant experience, certifications, teaming intentions, and financial resources.
- Material Information: Grades, forms, specifications, common uses, impurity details, and testing capabilities (internal/external).
- Supply Information: Silica source locations, supply chain specifics (CONUS status), annual production, acquisition time, recycling involvement, pricing methods, and current market prices.
- Delivery Information: Typical order-to-delivery times, quantities, subcontractor use, origin, annual capacity, estimated delivery for specified quantities, additional capacity, lot/batch size, spot delivery, discounts, preferred delivery/packaging, industry standards, and safety.
- Storage Information: Common storage conditions, duration, shelf life, environmental impact, regulations, material rotation, and long-term storage recommendations.
- Market Information: Frequency of price changes, seasonality, anticipated manufacturing/technology changes, and potential material substitutions.
- Additional Information: Provisions for agreements longer than one year, Wide Area Workflow status, willingness to provide sales data, agreement to FAR clause 52.216-2, SAM.gov registration, and CAGE code.
