This is an extension to the current SENSE contract, with no additional increase to the maximum ordering value. The sole source rationale is in accordance with 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, citing "Only one responsible source." NASA/GSFC currently has a competitive follow-on procurement underway. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
