Scope of Work
The requirement is for maintenance services for 111 units of Spacesaver moveable shelving at the NDU Library. Key services include:
- Two preventative maintenance on-site visits per year.
- On-call emergency service with a 24-business hour response time (during normal business hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm).
- All labor fees and Spacesaver factory original equipment manufactured parts (excluding floor coverings, battery power packs, and safety overrides).
- Maintenance and cleaning of shelving unit components (moving parts, chains, rails, switches, etc.).
- Inspection and testing of safety features and electrical/mechanical controls.
- Detailed inspection reports.
- Contractor must maintain an inventory of parts.
