• TIGAR Exploratory Topic Overview: Focuses on evaluating early-stage, high-risk, high-impact concepts for temperature-flexible preservation solutions for complex tissues and organs. It aims to advance regenerative medicine and expand access to advanced therapies.

• Technical Approach: Seeks innovative technologies for stabilizing regenerative tissues and organs, potentially involving AI, materials science, and other biotechnologies. Strategies reducing reliance on strictly controlled temperatures are preferred.

• TIGAR Structure: Will have two intake groups for early-stage concepts, structured as an 18-month period of performance (two 9-month phases with a go/no-go decision). Proposers must demonstrate progress towards functional preservation of entire structures or 1 cm³ of tissue for ≥30 days at practical temperatures. Total ARPA-H funding requested shall not exceed $2 million USD over 18 months.

• Submission Impact: Attendance at the Proposers' Day is optional and not required for proposal submission. Information shared will be made available on the ARPA-H website. Advanced registration is required for the Proposers' Day, and participation is limited to the potential proposer community.
