Justification for Sole Source
This procurement is authorized under FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source) and FAR 13.106-1(b). Southwestern Industries, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of TRAK Machines, ProtoTRAK CNCS, and their upgrades. They are the exclusive distributor for the New England region and the sole manufacturer of TRAK Machine parts and upgrades. The company owns and maintains the proprietary data for the requested screen upgrade, which is considered a "direct replacement" part/component for existing equipment.

This procurement is restricted to Southwestern Industries, Inc. as the sole source.
Response & Deadline
This notice is not a request for proposals. However, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing by May 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government to determine if an equivalent supply/service exists.
