The purpose of this modification is to cancel the current contract award. On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Hanger 4 Services submitted a protest regarding the Agency's award decision. On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, GAO dismissed the protest.
The purpose of this modification is to cancel the current contract award. On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Hanger 4 Services submitted a protest regarding the Agency's award decision. On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, GAO dismissed the protest based on the Agency's termination of the current contract and reassessment of the requirement. This termination is based on FAR 52.249-4, Termination for Convenience of the Government. Since no services or mobilization efforts were administered by the awardee, the Government should not be liable for any costs incurred by the awardee. Should the awardee request a Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA), the REA will be reviewed accordingly.
