Purpose & Scope
The primary objective is to identify qualified contractors capable of providing in-person instruction for FRT courses to Navy and Marine Corps personnel. This training aims to equip personnel with the skills for safe oil spill response, equipment use, and compliance with environmental regulations. The scope includes providing 24-hour (3-day) and 40-hour (5-day) FRT courses covering oil spill prevention, response procedures, containment, recovery techniques, shoreline protection, incident command systems, and relevant regulations (e.g., OPNAV M5090.1, MCO 5090.2, 29 CFR 1910.120). Training will involve lectures, demonstrations, and on-water practical exercises at various CONUS and OCONUS government installations, as determined by Task Orders.
Contract Details
- Type: Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI). The anticipated follow-on contract is an IDIQ with Firm, Fixed-Price provisions.
